Recipe Roundup - Our Favourite Recipes from July

August 2, 2012

For this month's recipe roundup, we tried to narrow down our favourites to just three recipes. As always, we had an extremely difficult time choosing between all of the delicious food photos. All you food bloggers just know how to tempt us!

To be part of our recipe roundup, all we need is a recipe with a photo that makes us go "Must try that!" If you would like your recipe featured in our recipe roundup, make sure we see your photo!

Here are our favourites from the month of July (in no particular order.)

1. Vegan Philly Cheezsteak from Namely Marly.

Made with the Daiya Jack style wedge, slow baked tofu, avocado aioli, and veggies all on a hoagie, this made us swoon.

2. Cheezy Baked Rigatoni from The Vegan Pact.

This recipe is also made with the Daiya Jack style wedge. The best part is that you don't have to feel guilty about indulging in a cheesy pasta dish because it is also loaded with nutrients from the added kale! Win win situation.

3. Grilled Sweet Potato and Black Bean Quesadillas from That Was Vegan?

Just 4 ingredients but so very delicious. These were made with the Daiya Jack style wedge (there seems to have been a Jack wedge theme among food bloggers last month), sweet potato, black beans, and tortillas. After posting a photo of these on our Facebook page, we think it's safe to say that Daiya fans love their quesadillas.

4. Grilled Cranberry and Pistachio Quesadillas from That Was Vegan?

Ok, ok we know we said we tried to pick our three favourites, but when we were looking at That Was Vegan's Sweet Potatoe Quesadillas above, we came across these ones too. How could we choose just one?  That turned out to be an impossible choice so we had to include both. This is another incredibly simple 4-ingredient recipe made with the Daiya Jack style Wedge. Cranberries and pistachios in a quesadilla? Pure genius!

Those are our top three four favourite recipes for the month of June. If you would like to have your creation featured in our Recipe Roundup, don't forget to send us a link to your blog. We look forward to seeing all the deliciousness that is in store for us next month!
